The cops target me for violence due to the open minded thinking displayed on Collapse the Walls and Folklore. I always like to thematically tie together songs on my albums, and this is one of those devices that allows me to subtly do so. My homie Ray Fernandes plays the role of a cop in this skit, and he sounds like he genuinely hates me. This perhaps came a little bit too naturally for him.

This record is dope as Hell and continues Mr. Lif's mastery of rhymed storytelling. The first two tracks feed into each other as a harrowingly real tale of a new relationship grimly overshadowed by the girlfriend's stalking ex-lover with things inching closer & closer to inevitable confrontation. Brilliantly creative and very true to life, these are hallmarks of Mr. Lif and this new record is instructive, entertaining & worth attention. Sir Reginald Styles

This is the type of art that I'm always looking for. Honest. Story presented as a sort of folding of previous classic technique and still coming out fresh. To be moved forward with great work. Ben "Angrycrow" Nix-Bradley
