(2005) - Produced by Willie Evans Jr. / This song appeared on the lead single for the Asamov album "...And Now" (6 Hole Recordings 2005) / I had just bought myself some new studio equipment & had the honor of blessing this ruff cut on my new mic (which was an AKG Solidtube at the time)

This record is dope as Hell and continues Mr. Lif's mastery of rhymed storytelling. The first two tracks feed into each other as a harrowingly real tale of a new relationship grimly overshadowed by the girlfriend's stalking ex-lover with things inching closer & closer to inevitable confrontation. Brilliantly creative and very true to life, these are hallmarks of Mr. Lif and this new record is instructive, entertaining & worth attention. Sir Reginald Styles

This is the type of art that I'm always looking for. Honest. Story presented as a sort of folding of previous classic technique and still coming out fresh. To be moved forward with great work. Ben "Angrycrow" Nix-Bradley

This is true jazz rap/hip-hop. The lyricism reminds of classic gangsta rap and the production is stupendous. I definitely recommend this one. Thomas Ylvisaker

Love the dusty samples and historical vocals Holiday provides. Being a rapper I'm gonna have to say Lost Souls is the hardest hitting on the track but the whole tape is amazing! viktorharterlikes
